PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF ALUMINIUM FOIL 1. Outward facing foil surface reflects 97% inward radiation, with airspace2. Inward foil surface emits or re-radiates 3% of radiation, with airspace * RENSHADE perforated surface area = 10%. Aluminium surface area = 90%* Inward radiant heat flow = estimated 85% reduction* Outward winter heat loss = reduction unspecified, but considerable* Effective typical summer period in southern Australia – October to March. APPLICATIONS * RENSHADE with Velcro (included): cut to fit and fixed against inside of glass (40x 22mm diam’ spots – upon request per 5m rolls) for vertical, angled and irregular shaped glass, + atriums, greenhouses, skylights.* RENSHADE Holland Blinds: chain-drive best suited for long drop windows. Miminise handling. Requires stitching reinforcement at blind’s edges and joins for wide windows.* RENSHADE removable scroll-blinds: top and bottom rods able to be held within a window frame.

Reverse optical effect at night time - privacy requires use of internal blind.
* Airconditioning use will be considerably reduced or eliminated. Natural ventilation with cooler evening
temperatures plus ceiling fans will commonly be sufficient. Lower power costs for occupants and reduced state/national summer peak load electricity demand - Reduces the need for expensive double-glazing. * RENSHADE sheets can be removed, rolled up, stored carefully and reused repeatedly but care is needed. * Transparent roofing is commonly too hot to sit under – RENSHADE is the answer. * Adequate winter light will penetrate RENSHADE to maintain plant growth.
